Youth Group
I haven't gone to youth group in awhile I've just been so busy. last weekend I did a retreat at my church and some of the kids from the youth group were there seeing them made me miss them. They asked me why I hadn't come in so long and I told them that I had just been really busy with work and school. They seemed to understand but when it came time for them to go home I didn't want them to leave so I asked my friend to leave them with me for the afternoon so I could hang out with for a little while since she was going home to sleep. Hanging out with a seven year old and a ten year old is not most people cup of tea but I love them so much they make me really happy.

That really must be an awesome feeling to know that you are brightening the children's day by spending time with them. I wish I had the time to do something like that. Seems very fulfilling!
ReplyDeleteTo quickly Re-Re introduce myself
ReplyDeleteMy name is Felipe and I will be serving as Tech guy during your stay at the WCSP. You can ask me any questions about the program, Blogger, Flickr, Blurb, BookSmart (blurb program), Cameras, Photography, and Photoshop. I'm also open to any other questions. I hope you enjoy the class as much as past students have!
That's for the comment! It's real nice to know that you are making children happy. Looking forward to your blog! I was a past student of Russo's Creative Studies, so if you have any questions, I'm available as well.
ReplyDeleteHi my name is Ashley. I am Mike's work study students and I actually took this exact class last semester so I know the ropes. I'll be commenting on your stuff from time to time just to give you some feed back.
ReplyDeleteAww that's so cute. I absolutely adore kids too and love spending time with them.
Remember, you should strive to write a few posts each week, or you will fall behind your target!
ReplyDeleteRemember, we will not have class on Wednesday because the College is operating on a Monday schedule. This does not mean that you don't have work to do. By Feb 17th you should have reached the following targets:
ReplyDeleteBlog Posts: about 25
Photos: about 50
We appreciate the fact that many of you are putting some effort into your writing. We can see that a few of you are definitely trying to move beyond your comfort zone and get a little funky. Keep it up!!!
If you'd like to start working on some of the exercises in Chapters 4 and 5, copies are available in the philosophy house [1079 Hempstead Ave.]. You might find some of these exercises--which focus on the stories of your life and your relationships with intimate others--to be more interesting than those in chapters 1-3.
You should also make an effort to comment on at least 6 student's posts everytime you go on line. Damian also feels neglected because none of you are commenting on his wonderful writing. You might want to check his stuff out to see what really good writing looks like.
See you on Feb 24th!
